I'm subscribed to Wakeout but can't access the app

If you paid for Wakeout but the app is asking you to choose a plan, it usually just needs to re-check your purchase. Try these in order.

1. Restore your purchase

  1. Open Wakeout. If you see the plan screen, scroll down to "Restore purchase" and tap it. If you are inside the app, open Settings, tap "Unlock Wakeout" (you will see this row only when Wakeout thinks you have no plan), then tap "restore purchase".

  2. Wait a few seconds. If your plan is found, the app opens up.

If you see "no valid subscriptions to restore", Wakeout could not find a plan on the Apple Account you are signed in with. Go to step 2.

2. Check the Apple Account

Restoring only works with the Apple Account that bought Wakeout. On your device, open Settings and tap your name at the top to see which account is signed in. If you use more than one, sign in with the one you paid with and restore again.

3. Check the purchase with Apple

  • Yearly, monthly or Pay-As-You-Go: open the App Store, tap your profile picture, then Subscriptions. Wakeout should be listed there.

  • Lifetime: Lifetime is a one-time purchase, so it does not show under Subscriptions. Look for it in your purchase history instead (reportaproblem.apple.com).

  • A gift: sign in to Wakeout with the same account you used when you redeemed the code. Gifts are tied to your Wakeout account, not to Apple's subscription list.

  • Family Sharing: if a family member pays for Wakeout, make sure you are signed in with your own Apple Account in the same Family group, then tap "Restore purchase".

4. Still stuck?

Message us from the app, or reply here, with the email on your Wakeout account and, if you have it, your Apple receipt. A person will take it from there. We answer Monday to Friday.
