Wakeout is an app for moving your body for the fun of it. Here is what people usually get out of it.
Small moves that feel like play
Tap the big Move Now button and you get a quick move, often a minute or two, picked from the kinds of moves you chose. Dancing, silly moves, stretches, seated moves, and more. Many people finish one and feel a little lighter.
Moves that fit your day
When you set up Wakeout, you choose the kinds of moves your body wants: sitting, standing, the 60+ Club, home, work, pain relief, mobility, dancing, silly and fun, positivity. You start with all of them and can remove any you do not like (keep at least three). You can change your mix any time in Settings under Your Mix.
Games and daily challenges
Wakeout also has movement games and a Daily Move Challenge if you want something a little silly to try.
Watts, with no pressure
Wakeout counts what you do as Watts. If you connect Apple Health, steps, stairs, workouts from other apps and your Wakeouts all fill your daily Watts goal, and you can adjust the goal to whatever feels right. Watts are a friendly way to see what you did, nothing more.
Reminders that respect your day
If you turn on move reminders, Wakeout can nudge you when you have been still for a while. They only arrive inside the active hours you set, never while you sleep, and you can change or turn them off any time in Settings.
Wherever you are
You can move at home, at the office, or on the go. Many moves need nothing but you, and some use things you already have around, like the kitchen ones.
Wakeout is for fun and general wellbeing and is not medical advice. If you have a health condition, check with your doctor before trying a new activity.
