Wakeout on Apple Watch: Complete Guide

How to get the most out of your Wakeout for Apple Watch

Wakeout on your Apple Watch puts a minute of play one tap from your wrist. Here is everything you need to know.

Getting it on your watch

  1. Make sure Wakeout is installed on your iPhone and you are signed in.

  2. Pair your Apple Watch with that iPhone.

  3. If Wakeout does not show up on your watch on its own, open the Watch app on your iPhone, scroll to Apps, find Wakeout and switch it on.

What you will find

  • Move Now: the same one-minute pick you would get on your iPhone, matched to the time of day and the kinds of moves you like.

  • Today's Move Challenge: the Daily Challenge, right on your wrist. Finishing it on any device counts.

  • Your day at a glance: your streak, today's Watts and the title you have earned, with the number of Wakeouts you have played.

  • Celebrations: a little party on your wrist when you hit a milestone.

Smart Stack and Siri

Wakeout can show a card in your Smart Stack at moments when a little movement fits, such as Move Now during your day or the Daily Challenge in the morning. You can also start Move Now or the Daily Challenge with Siri and Shortcuts.

Play your iPhone games with your watch

When you play a Movement Game on your iPhone, your watch can show your live score and ring, buzz as you score, and let you start the next round with a tap. You can also use your watch as a remote during a Wakeout on your iPhone: pause, skip to the next move, get another pack, and see your heart rate next to the move.

Watch faces and complications

Add a Wakeout complication to a watch face for your Watts and a quick way in.

Favorites

Packs you favorite on your iPhone, iPad or Mac appear in the Favorites list on your watch after a short sync.

Good to know

The watch app is a companion to your iPhone. It cannot open or control Wakeout on your other devices.

If something looks off

  1. Check your Apple Watch is paired and connected to your iPhone.

  2. Update Wakeout on your iPhone and your watch, and keep both devices on the latest software.

  3. Restart both devices if things are slow to sync.
