Syncing Wakeout with Apple Health

Wakeout works without Apple Health: every Wakeout and every Movement Game earns Watts on its own. Connecting Apple Health adds your everyday movement too, so a walk to the kitchen or a flight of stairs can count toward your daily goal.

What Wakeout uses from Apple Health

  • Steps

  • Stairs climbed

  • Standing minutes (with an Apple Watch)

  • Exercise minutes, including workouts from other apps

Wakeout also saves your Wakeouts to Apple Health as workouts, so they show up alongside everything else. Your data stays private and is never sold.

Connecting Apple Health

You can connect during setup, or any time later:

  1. Open Settings (the person icon on the Now tab).

  2. Tap Apple Health.

  3. In the Apple Health sheet, tap Turn On All, then Allow.

You will also see a Connect Apple Health card on the Watts tab if it is not connected yet.

If Apple Health says it is not connected

Open the Health app, tap your profile picture at the top right, then Privacy, then Apps, choose Wakeout and tap Turn On All. Come back to Wakeout and open the Watts tab to refresh.

Numbers look different from the Health app?

Give it a few minutes and reopen Wakeout, since data from your iPhone and Apple Watch arrives in small batches. If something still looks off, tap Get Help Now in Settings and tell us what you see. We are happy to look into it. Our support team is available Monday to Friday.
